Mallorca went back ahead seven minutes into the second half, after a great individual play from winger Jan Virgili, whose cross to the far post was deflected into the goal by Samú Costa. When 28 minutes of the second half had passed, a Costa's dribble ended in a back pass, which Muriqi shot on first touch, and after a deflection off the back of Sergi Darder, it went into the net. The last goal of the match came in the fifth minute of stoppage time, when Pablo Torre controlled a through pass on the right, got rid of a rival, and shot against the goalkeeper Odisseas Vlachodimos, to seal the final 4-1 score that took Mallorca, partially, out of the relegation zone.
